Gatherings that bring women together with the intention of women supporting women, truly listening and witnessing each other. No solving or giving of advice, no competition, no comparison—circles are a judgment-free place to slow down and an invitation to reflect, to dream, and to connect deeply with other women. At Hello Mama, most of our circles are for mothers specifically (including all the seasons: preconception; pregnancy; mothers of babies, toddlers, school-aged, or teenagers; mothers with adult children or perhaps even now with grandchildren). CIRCLES FOR NEW MOTHERS

An intimate prenatal women’s circle for expecting mothers. With an emphasis on connection and curiosity, this six-week series weaves together the community building of a traditional women’s circle with prenatal yoga practices and perinatal resources and education to leave mothers feeling grounded and supported. Each 90-minute session is split into three parts: women’s circle to foster connection with each other and with the self; yoga elements for supporting the body and mind in pregnancy (including gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness practices); and content specific workshop time with local perinatal professionals to introduce resources and experts. A women’s circle for mothers in the first year with a new babe.
Usually held toward the end of the third trimester, a mother blessing honors an expecting mother. Call it a party, a celebration, or a ceremony—there are a lot of ways to describe it, but most importantly, a mother blessing is all about the mama. Whereas a baby shower centers around the baby, games, and meeting the needs of the family as they prepare to care for their infant, a mother blessing places the focus completely on the mother (and by the way, you can have both a baby shower AND a mother blessing). The event itself is an intimate gathering with only the mother’s most treasured people, her close friends and loved ones, and includes symbols and elements that reflect the mother, her journey, and what she needs most before the baby arrives. Think wedding or graduation ceremony but for motherhood. The purpose is to shower the mama with blessings, to really fill her cup, so she can enter her transition into the early days with a new baby and into motherhood feeling wholly supported and loved.
At Hello Mama, we turn mother blessings into a boutique experience, an event that looks and feels truly special. We take care of everything, the space, the invitations, the planning and facilitating of the entire ceremony itself, the food, the flowers, the photos, and whatever else is needed so that everyone attending the event, including the mama herself, can focus on soaking up the day and creating beautiful memories.
